The Oak Ridge Cheerleaders were at Reliant Arena in the Cheer Power Wild West School State Championship this past Saturday. In competing in the High School Advanced division against William B. Travis and Langham Creek, the girls took first place in their division.
Oak Ridge also received High Point against twelve other schools which means they had the Highest Score of the day of all schools competing in every division.
Needless to say, Oak Ridge cheered like champions hitting all of their stunts, throwing beautiful baskets and landing all of their tumbling. They looked real sharp in their motions and were all together in the dance and cheer. There was one little hiccup on one side of the pyramid, but it was minor and the girls did not receive any major deductions.
Next stop is Disney on February 12th and 13th!!!!
