You Too Can Write for Oak Ridge Now

Oak Ridge Now is looking for passionate individuals to contribute content to our community web site. We need articulate people to write articles about their schools, their neighborhoods, their churches and their social groups. There are around 50,000 of us across the Oak Ridge area, and there are at least 50,000 stories to be told.

If you’d like to write about your son’s Boy Scout troop, the last romantic comedy you saw, or a life story of a senior citizen that really needs to be told, contact us. If you’d like to keep everyone up to date on the latest in Oak Ridge North city government, contact us. If there is a remarkable teacher in your child’s school, and you’d like to profile them, contact us. If you simply have an idea about what you’d like to see in Oak Ridge Now, contact us.

There are no real qualifications necessary, only that you are passionate about your topic of choice. Take the opportunity to add to the Oak Ridge community voices we are assembling here at Oak Ridge Now. Help us all come together.

If you’d like to contribute an article to Oak Ridge Now, send e-mail to Chuck Briese. And thanks in advance.

Chuck Briese, Oak Ridge Now

[avatar user="cbriese" size="thumbnail" align="left"] Chuck Briese has been a resident of South Montgomery County since 1988. He and his lovely and patient wife, Leslie, have six sons, with only one left to finish high school. Chuck has been a Cub Scout leader, a Little League baseball coach, a church youth leader, and a general troublemaker over the course of the past 25 years. He is obsessed with his lawn, and likes restaurants that serve food that fills up the plate. He has a tendency to tilt at windmills, which may explain why he started Oak Ridge Now.
